Watermans, Here We Come

This time next week (Sunday 26th) we will begin setting up the stage ready for the first performance of Dick Whittington, on Friday 1st December. Keep checking the countdown on the right.

The set is painted and ready - well almost.  There are always some last minute items to make and paint, this year will be no different. It’s been a challenge in the limited space of our new workshop.

Lines are learnt and the cast are well rehearsed and raring to go.

The costumes are stitched, pressed  and looking great, the complexities of not having the full wardrobe to hand when rehearsals are taking place has been overcome.

Props are made or sourced, from elaborate hats to pirate swords.

Music, sound and lighting is planned and ready to take its place in theatre.

It will be fantastic when all the elements finally come together in one space for the first time

It’s not too late to book tickets at the Watermans Box Office.

Dick Whittington – Tickets on Sale Now

by Christine Ryan in 2008 and updated by Penny Vincent in 2017

A great traditional family panto presented by St Faith’s Players at the Watermans Theatre.

Be prepared to cheer on our handsome hero and his clever cat, Tom.  Boo and hiss at the evil scheming King Rat and laugh at the outrageous antics of Bertha the cook.

St Faith’s Players is Brentford’s only local theatre group and this year is celebrating its fortieth anniversary and is now a registered charity. Over this time many local people of all ages have taken part in a variety of productions.

We are always seeking new members and whether you would like to be on stage or help behind the scenes, you will be made very welcome.

When you book for a group of 10 you get one ticket free of charge – this is only available when you book through the Box Office.
